week 05

jan 29 to feb 4

Welcome to week five.

Be a Maker:

This week I made some progress on the secret sewing project I'll reveal on the 15th of February. I also worked more on my Find Your Fade Shawl. I think that is going to be a gift later this month, so I need to get on it.

Use the Stash:

My secret sewing project used all stash only fabrics.

Practice my Craft:

I quilted, pattern wrote, and knit this week. I also made some stickers for an upcoming week when I want to use only left over kits, but I have limited leftovers of bottom washi tapes/full boxes/date covers, so I made some to go along with the kit remnants.

Also this week:

I found some great and adorable sticker kits on Etsy at a shop called LazyCatPrints. The first one I used was a Totoro design, and I bought a number of others since they are downloadable cut files for my Silhouette Portrait.

These kits are large enough for both my planners. I used the stickers in my Get to Work Book then used what was left in my Quilter's Planner. Expect to see more from this shop in my future.

Later this month:

Sarah Fielke is doing a BOM called Down the Rabbit Hole. The first month's instructions were released this week on the 31st. I watched the video and printed the instructions but haven't had a chance to add it to my list of items to work on.
